An exclusive interview with Wang Dong: the way to come -- Wang Quanlins dream building journey

In August 2017, Wang Quanlin, chairman of Taowine industry, accepted a documentary interview with Shaanxi Pucheng TV station, telling his struggle story of decades from poor students to entity entrepreneurship and dream pursuit, and setting an example to explain the core and connotation of learning and struggle spirit in Taowine culture.

Wang Quanlin was born in Weinan, Shaanxi Province. He graduated from university and was assigned to the state-owned Xifei group with excellent achievements. During his days in Xifei, he resisted the temptation of the outside world and learned all kinds of knowledge from the library like a sponge, from product equipment to software technology to English, as he said, "The important thing to do is to insist. If you are calm, can stand loneliness and calm down, you will get something." Four years later, he resolutely gave up his iron rice bowl, carried his package away from his hometown and set foot on the journey south to Shenzhen. Stolen luggage and cheated money by an intermediary, the young man finally landed in a strange land and began his dream building journey.

From Delta to Huawei, Wang Quanlin still didn't give up learning. He continuously acquired technical and management knowledge about the industry and gradually strengthened his goals and ideals. In 2004, after 10 years of hard work and precipitation in the field of automation, he was acutely aware that intelligent manufacturing is the general trend, and the future road of national industry must be towards intelligence. With the national feelings of industrial power, Wang Quanlin founded Taowine and is determined to build it into an outstanding intelligent equipment enterprise. From a team of more than ten people to a scale of one thousand people, it's like an adverse journey all the way. Wang Dong mentioned that it was not easy to develop the market in the early stage of entrepreneurship. In order to win a customer, he called and emailed him and was rejected dozens of times before he got a chance to meet.

In the interview, he also mentioned that during the global financial crisis, various industries were depressed and exhausted, and Taowine's funds were only enough to support for three months. Because one of Taowine's equipment can just solve the key technical difficulties of major customers in an industry, it was favored and received millions of orders. But even so, the shortage of funds caused by personnel and equipment resources has not been solved. Wang Quanlin barely raised enough operating funds by lending everywhere. In the first three days of delivery, the on-site team found that there was a technical problem with the equipment. In order to successfully deliver the project, Wang Quanlin led the Taowine team to overcome difficulties on the site, and won the reputation of customers for not sleeping for three days and three nights. In the face of difficulties and hardships, he refused to give up. Such a fighting belief finally condensed into the spiritual core of Taowine team.

Shaanxi is the birthplace of the civilization of the Central Plains and the origin of Wang Quanlin's dream building trip.
